My friends are obsessed with this and now I can't stop thinking about it.
My friends are obsessed with this and now I can't stop thinking about it.
why asre there two post buttons. why do i get little numbers next to 'home' and 'following' when btoh are giving me the exact same information. why is it that when you open the account view you have the exact same information on both sides of your screen. why is it that the activity popup obscuires the dashboard now instead of the 1000000 miles of empty space on my god damn desktop. did they not consider the concept of UI scaling at all?????
when i first saw people p[ostp about this i thought maybe they were overreacting because they hate twitter and change but like. whatever you think abotu the concept of 'putting all this shit on the left side of your screen' as a bold UI innovation or whatever in concept this shit is like. just straight up unfinished. like i legitimately dont understand how this was considered ready to roll out to users

thank you @ghoulsbeard for the tag uhh three days ago that I forgot about <3 doing this now while i remember lmao
My longfic Bloom :) I bet everyone’s sick to death hearing me talk about it but I DONT CARE!!! It’s MY baby and I love her. she’s almost done sniff sniff cries. If you somehow havent heard what its about, its an au if arthur’s son Isaac lived and went to live w the gang, but hes a very feminine boy and arthur has to deal with his own internalized homophobia and ideas of fatherhood/masculinity while balancing the conflict of the gang.
I did this series of portraits of every rdr2 character and it took weeks but i really enjoyed it. I had to redraw a couple portraits and theres one or two id still like another crack at but.. I really like it. I’ll only put one panel here for the preview

this youtuber au I did for rdr2 of everyone just shitting all over kieran. he’s such a meg character its kinda funny. but I laugh every time I see sadie and johns comments “kys” and “I hope that horse kicks you” nothin funnier

this charthur journal entry I did. I think this was one of the first rdr2 fanworks I did ever and it immediately took off which was very nice. I was super surprised by how much people liked it and I actually offer other arthur style journal entries as a commission (#hustle #grindset #ad)

I did this scene redraw and while I wouldn’t declare it a flop I do think she deserves a little more attention. I’m very proud of all the shading and lighting. particularly his hand and hat.. anyway

I will no pressure tag @sheogayrath @new-austin @kitsuonyo @pinkysberg @dragonwithafez sorry if you’ve been tagged already !

ty @blackinquisitors for the tag!
Something you absolutely adore
Recently I’ve been in love with cute things as well as obsessed with one of my OCs, Links… I’m really happy with how this drawing of them turned out!
Something that was challenging to create
This cover art concept I did a while back using two of my original characters, Kasumi and Kazue/Masumi. It’s still one of my favorite things I’ve ever made (even if it’s not perfect)
Something that makes you laugh (or smile, if that fits more comfortably)
Something that surprised you (in how it turned out, how much other people liked it, etc.)
I was surprised how popular this drawing of Kairi got! At the time it was one of my simpler drawings so I wasn’t really expecting it to get much attention, yet it’s like my #2 most popular post on my art blog lol. Back in the days when I used to draw on my phone during school…
Something you want other people to see
I don’t frequently make finished physical pieces (usually just drafts for digital works), but I do sometimes do watercolors as gifts. I did this one as a memorial for my partner’s cat and I’m very proud of how it turned out. I think more people should see him :)
I’ll tag @fortunechaos @enochianghost @dandyshorts @liquidstar if any of you are interested!
i think it's really fucking funny actually how they forgot to make the new tumbler web ui scale at all, this shit is tiny as fuck on my 4k monitor
WHY DID YOU MAKE THE POSTS LESS WIDE, LIKE THIS UI IS NOT JUST BUNCHED UP FOR NO REASON IT ALSO SQUISHES THE INBOX AND DASH FOR LITERALLY NO REASON, MY SCREEN IS WIDE USE THAT SPACE
like i wouldnt even care THAT much about the buttons having moved to the left (its a useless change but like yea whatever) if they at least fucking did it in a clean and responsive way and didnt just squish the site even more, there wouldve been a way to do this that wouldve ended up leaving extra space for posts n stuff that isnt there right now but NO
liam is the worst member of one direction but indisputably has the best tweets

the fact that pro-monarchy arguments have degenerated, over the past few centuries, from “the king rules by divine right and is accountable to nobody but god”, to “uhm the royals generate a lot of income from tourism” will never stop being extremely funny to me
the monarchs… bad. but the castles? oh, the castles are positively lush with rats… 👅

Gun to your head, would you be able to tell me the name of the appa shopkeeper from arc 1 and 3?
Yes, obviously
No? what the fuck man
One of my favorite things is learning what words people used for this hand game—where you sit in a circle with your hands facing up, right hand on top of your neighbor's, left hand below your other neighbor's, and you sequentially go around slapping right hand into left— where they lived when they were kids. The regional variations are the best. It's in Wikipedia as "Stella Ella Ola," but for me (and many NE USAmericans) it's "Quack Diddly Oso."
The way these games are taught to younger kids by older kids and spread throughout regions is so fascinating; I want a visualization where you can see what happens when one random kid 50 years ago moved to a different state. I have no idea how widespread this game is, but I think it's all across the US and Canada, at a minimum. I haven't seen my kids play this—is it still a thing?
In my school in the 90s, it went like this—
Quack diddly oso, Quack, quack, quack, Señorita, Rita, rita, rita, Velour, velour, Velour, velour, velour, velour, 1, 2, 3, 4!
I especially appreciate the versions that include “your mother smells like pizza,” “the toilet over fulled,” and “the cat peed on the floor,” “potatoes on the floor-a”
What about you? Anyone play it outside of North America?
everyone who played “down by the banks,” I feel sorry for you that you had such a boring version
